Jacob Martinson is the owner and founder of J. Martinson Builders, a company he established in 2022 after over a decade of experience working with some of Nantucket's most respected contractors. Formerly known as Nantucket Renovation & Remodel, the company now focuses on custom builds, including new homes and additions, with a dedication to superior craftsmanship and lasting quality.

Jacob's career in construction began at a young age as a woodshop assistant, where his passion for the craft quickly grew. Over the years, he advanced through various roles, from lead carpenter to obtaining his general contractor license. This hands-on experience has given him a deep understanding of every phase of construction, from framing to the final finishes, ensuring that each project is executed with precision and attention to detail.

What sets Jacob apart is his commitment to quality, communication, and a client-centered approach. He believes that a successful project is built on trust and transparency. Jacob takes pride in his ability to clearly communicate throughout the process, ensuring clients are informed and confident every step of the way.
